SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA, OCTOBER 29, 2001. The DavenportFolio business and career development firm of Mesa, Arizona, announced its second celebratory event honoring local professionals. Founder and CEO, Dr. Debra Davenport, will present the Inaugural "Spirit of Women with Vision" Award to Linda M. Herold on Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at a private event in Scottsdale.

Ms. Herold is publisher of the Herold Report, a Valley-wide publication, and is president of Identity Arts, a local consulting practice. A founding member of Women of Scottsdale, Herold will be recognized for her professional achievements and contributions to other women-owned businesses in the greater Phoenix area.

This event is a salute to women whose professional vision has led them to notable success in their fields and has defined them as mentors and role models for other women in business. The award also acknowledges the significant contribution women make to the community, area business, and the local economy. Joining Dr. Davenport in presenting this award are Jean Lasee, President of Agents Against Chaos; Lisa Platt, president of Errands Galore; and Dr. Peggy Rostron, president of The Maestro Effect. In addition to officiating the award ceremony, the presenters will deliver condensed seminars in their respective fields.
